Just like to thank the committee & Arthur for their understading and well wishes as l venture into my new coaching role outside of Southern Suburbs in 2009.
It certainly was n't an easy decision as l have developed a strong bond with the club over the past 6 years, one l hope will continue in the future.
I'd also like to wish all the players and supporters all the very best for season 2009, look forward to coming down and watching a number of games.

Not great news today, got to albert park to be greeted by a dashing young athlete named Panos (the machine was not able to attend due to getting a new mechanical arm put on).
The run started well with some idle chit chat happening, until the young athlete saw a chance to make a break on me (i got a stitch and told him to keep going i would catch up to him HA HA not a chance).
I was just beaten today (after i spanked him on sunday) by the up and coming middle distance runner who has been asked to represent his country (by about 1km) and had nearly caught him before we got to the finish line..(if i caught a taxi i might have got him)

Psarros 1hr 45 min
Panos did have an advantage he used me as a wind break......
Bring on sunday revenge to be had..
If i can't beat him in running , i will out eat him at the botanical...

Following on from Pete’s record breaking run on Sunday at the Tan where he broke the 1 hour barrier for the 3.8 kms he’ll be at it again tonight at Albert Park lake for an attempt on the 5km mark. Get there early to grab a good vantage point. Try the Point;)
