Mens Pre Season to begin on January 13th.

New Senior coach Arthur Georgiou has announced to his players last Thursday night that pre season training would commence on Tuesday 13th January at 7pm at Keeley Park. The club was very pleased with the turn out of players at Thursday's BBQ to meet the new coach.

The club is continuing to work very hard in the background in preparation for the new season which now will begin on Saturday 28th March.

New senior coach appointed.

Southern Suburbs SC is very pleased to announce the appointment of Arthur Georgiou as its new senior coach. There will be a FREE BBQ at the club this Thursday 4th December at 7:30pm for all players to meet the new coach. Arthur will have the opportunity to discuss his plans for the new season as well as his vision for the team.

Arthur has spent his playing days at South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, Stonnington and Collingwood City. It was at Collingwood where he first took charge of a senior team as a caretaker coach towards the end of the 2007 season and then permanently for the 2008 season where they missed promotion by goal difference.

The club is very excited and optimistic with its appointment of Arthur Georgiou for the new season. Both club and coach share the same vision for the future success and growth of the Southern Suburbs SC.
