Southern Suburbs Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting for Southern Suburbs Pythagoras Soccer Club will be held at Keeley Park on Sunday November 16th at 10AM.
All members should now have been notified of the meeting. All non members are also welcome to attend and are encouraged to sign up as new members.
Oktoberfest - Saturday 18th October

Oktoberfest at Keeley Park is on Saturday 18th October. The day starts at 4pm and goes till late. As usual there will be a range of German beers to try. Bring your family and Stein along and enjoy the day. There is also food available; Traditional German Sausages with Sauerkraut(optional).
Thirds League Restructure for 2009

The Thirds League will be restructured in 2009 with the introduction of promotion and relegation. This will be supported by introducing Divisions 1 through to 4. Divisions 2, 3 & 4 will be regional (ie South East & North West) while Division 1 will be across all regions.
As the Southern Suburbs Thirds team finished as runners up of the Thirds South competition they have been included in Division 1 for 2009.
Presentation Night

The club held its Annual Presentation Night last Saturday night and congratulations go to all the individual winners for their various awards. A big thank to all the players in attendance.
The Players Player of the Year winners announced on the night were:
Seniors - Nick Rossios
Reserves - Stav Boutos
Thirds - Young So
Masters - Jerry Fragias
Girls - Lisa Pitsos
The club also announced that it was parting company with Senior coach Michael Tapai after 2 years at the helm. The club would like to sincerley thank Michael for his contribution and support during his tenure at Southern Suburbs. We wish Michael all the best in his future endeavours.

This years Presentation Night will be held in the Keeley Park Football Club Social Rooms on Saturday 4th October from 7pm. It will be a Full Buffet Meal with Beer, Wine & Soft Drinks provided.
All Seniors, Reserves, Thirds & Masters who have paid their Club Registration in full have 2 complimentry tickets. All Girls who have paid their Club Registration in full will have 1 complimentry ticket for the night. For everyone else the cost of a ticket is $30. The dress code is smart casual.
Trophies for all players will be presented on the night as well as the winners of the "Players Player of the Year" will be announced as voted for by the players on Brownlow Night.
